We went to the soft opening of Main & Elm in Redwood City (formally Main Street Coffee and Roasting Company, and also a sister restaurant to the long-time Lutticken’s in Menlo Park) and left knowing that Main & Elm will soon become a popular, local hangout that is comfortable and fit for friends and families.

As you walk in to Main & Elm there is a large patio adjacent to a bar that's equipped with televisions and relaxed seating. Each section of the restaurant has different décor and spatial arrangements, the space feels dynamic and different. The dishes were full of character. We felt totally spoiled being able to pick out any item from the menu to try during the soft opening celebration. My group's favorites were the Curry Shrimp Cakes, Calamari Salad, Roasted Chicken and the Cheeseburger. Absolutely everyone was raving over the burger, it was definitely a crowd-pleaser!

After spending a few hours at the restaurant, I can attest that Main & Elm is going to be a local hangout for anyone who loves tasty bites, patio dwelling, watching sports and lounging. The restaurant also serves breakfast and coffee in the cafe next door, making this property a destination for all times of the day. What the Edible Silicon Valley team appreciates most about Main & Elm is owner Bob Lutticken's history of being involved in the neighborhood for over 30 years. His support of local beer, wine, coffee, and other items from nearby vendors, completes the neighborly feel and tone that Main & Elm evokes.
